Our Story
In the backstreets of Sultanahmet, there was a small restaurant. A place passed down from father to son, a place that those who knew couldn't resist. Sabahattin Usta was the son of a fisherman from Tirilye. He knew the sea and learned to respect fish from him. He ran this modest restaurant, inherited from his father, a few streets away for years. It was a quiet, unassuming, yet unforgettable table. Over time, they moved to a wooden mansion built in 1927. And it was here, in 2000, that they made the New York Times twice. The world discovered them. Today, in that mansion, his sons continue to welcome their guests with the same care. Tables spill out into the street in summer... The warmth of the stove in winter... The same warmth in every season. This isn't just a fish restaurant. A family's legacy, a master's legacy. A table set for years, open to all who love fish. If you're in Sultanahmet, take a step away from the noise. Witness the story of the mansion.
